Ioccasionallystolemyaunt'sdressesandgodownstairs,inthekitchen,toaskforthe storyoftheselecteddustygarment.Thatcuriosityforthepastlifeofobjects, andthemeaningsthattheycarry,neverleftme. Clothesdeserveachancetotellstories,andsodothepeoplewhowearthem.

inspiration Thisprojectexplorestheconceptoffashionheritage,aforgottenvalue,thatI probablymadeupmyself,basedonthesimpleideathatpeoplesurroundthemselves withobjectsthatspeakaboutthem,andwithwhomtheyhavestrongrelationships. It’sanongoingresearchonthemeaningsoftheclothesweinherited fromfamilymembers,orthatwestolefromgrandma’swardrobe, andwhywecan’tgetridofthem. Areflectionontheneedofbuyingnewmeaninglessstuff, whentheworldisalreadyfulloftreasures.
