The sun too close

with the words of @botscurae You wake up in a patch of sunlight The sun leans in close to you The real question is how do I You can change as often as the sky does Here is a desert who deserves the moonlight I just wanna wrap my many, many legs in around myself Gotta use something heavy to find out what’s on the soles of your cells Maybe it’s just hanging out with my toostrong heart The world I’m a mountain with no responsibilities except being a constantly fallible pile of leaves A rare picture sits down quietly In my mind and it’s my favorite Cute date idea: I guess I’ll survive Why don’t I make like a breath here is a metaphor in the woods Help I’ve fallen in love like beans in water Gotta find all the crows having a personality Anywhere the crows gather, that’s my problem Probably the first time I devoured someone’s soul Trying to dry out a pebble in the sea It’s all fun and games till someone loses their soul Oh don’t worry, I can't Sorry I’m late for work It’s me, a human but probably not

Blessed by a flock of birds Pretty cool how we’re all songs living on the ground Might fuck around and just sit down Trying to remember A whole world and the sky I want to be kind to you Music that reminds me my breath is the oldest ritual I’ve thought this plant was dead for months but I am the cool morning air you can just sleep in Like two drops of summer rain does I wanna be each other’s cloud cover I am the tree that strokes your hair when you fell in love with hundreds of pots Wanna live on plant time I want my teeth to go to sleep Nature just hands us its poems like the moon We all look This world, jeez Some words we all love moss But I am a tree and I actually kinda did Let the sun come back so slowly, our light can take its time to destroy capitalism All this fiction all over the place on the back of my hands that I want to be dropped first Fluffy golden fog frolicking in a patch of sunshine and, well, you know Speaking as the storm can just dig your fingers down into the world again The world where you run out of claws and talons okay Hello life where you’ve been all my bullshit Sometimes we get to be you Sometimes, just for now

I would like to sit still enough that a squirrel yelled at me A fantastical journey across my own self Every time you breathe out the window There’s my heart as a deep breath So much everything Perhaps the well inside you was laid out end to end City tree bus window gift I’d say probably my biggest problem is here! the real world Open your mouth wide and spill enough light that it doesn’t stop turning You know what that means I want to hear less words more birds Maybe I will be more human All these loves and all my thoughts sound like a memory Never sure if I went round listening to them It’s important to carry you away Look I’m tired of words yet We’re all going to swallow the moon again The sun The small stone that lives deep down inside you My fox cub heart Breathing deep and full of soft shine and so am I I am running across the sky Light the candle that will eventually turn back into stars How dare you Catch the light I am the tree that makes the blossom fall What’s the point of all the metaphors hidden in thorns and drops

There’s so much cold crisp spring air deep down inside yourself that you never knew was there When the world Let the tiny tendernesses that grow The majority of the corners of your holes Be the evening glow that pinks the city’s stones There’s just nothing like the ocean.

for Natsumi & Derek A tree is only as tall as its leaves a drawn ape horizon you are an island waist-deep in the ocean far from this wasteful country full of windless commercials on such a hot day eating every apple in the gosh darn tree from Narita to Florida what a beautiful sunrise knowing how far i had to howl a leap into faith what sunrise knowing faith the black night sea shimmering the black migrating winds in the sky black blue birds near the red bridge the suns in their eyes matching two love birds in Nikko through the lens of a crow talking slow days prayers temples bridges shrines nights just like the wooden toy car flying, the suns in my eyes matching howling Shibuya
