GenoPolis, the last organism of the city that is divided between places and
non-places, between local and global, between identity and non-identity, generic and
unique, equality and inequality, where paradigms persecute us and the city is the affected
space.
The space of Genopolis is the places where a culture spreads becomes homogeneous and that causes the polarization and fragmentation of the city, where limits are imposed. Formerly physical boundaries nowadays become a social barrier where a large majority are excluded. However, the majority nourish hope and feel the need to have the opportunity to one day have space in the city. Fragmentation and segregation are the problems that emerge in GenoPolis, the 21st-century metropolis.
