Hello, I'm L U I S I N A J U S T R I B Ó
about me.
My passion for Architecture and Interiors was ignited during my early years in Argentina by a deep fascination with houses and their design. Getting inspiration from my grandmother’s Interior Design magazines, being a little girl I was drawn to sketching floorplans and imagining how I could change spaces and layouts to make them look better. This curiosity fully immersed me into the world of design and led me to start my studies in Architecture in 2004. Following my graduation in 2011, I worked in a variety of roles. These included drafting, furniture design and sales, and eventually executing my own residential projects from conception to completion. My career goal was to positively impact lives through innovative design. My desire to explore new horizons brought me to Australia in 2016, as I fell in love with the country's charm. Throughout the years, I have continually developed professionally in order to broaden my design knowledge and enhance my skills. I pursued studies in Project Management, and in the last two years, I completed the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Interior Design. Within a professional context, I have worked as a draftsperson for various architects, culminating in my current position as a residential lighting designer. Looking towards the future, my aspirations include a wide range of exciting design and development projects that will give me the opportunity to apply my experience and passion.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES CONCEPT STATEMENT
Reflecting the authentic and relaxed spirit of this young company, The Urban Shed aims to bring the farm look and a sense of community to the heart of the busy Melbourne CBD. The key to creating this industrial yet charming look was the constraint of the exposed brick walls, since the building is heritage listed, they have to remain in the original state. Using that as the most characteristic feature, the addition of raw timber, rattan, leather, iron, and a touch of greenery leads to a perfect combination to evoke a rustic and farm vibe. 3D COUNTER DESIGN

PROJECT DELIVERABLES CONCEPT STATEMENT
'Mi casa es su casa' comes from the purpose of celebrating the idea of home in the workplace, changing the paradigm of the office world as purely business-focused, to a more welcoming, inclusive, creative, and homely environment. To complement the existing space filled with natural light, the private spaces were thought of as independent cubes of glass to ensure sunlight and a strong connection to the exterior. In this layout, the offices play the role of a residential interior and the areas around them represent a backyard full of plants and light. Each area was designed with different types of flooring: carpet and rugs for the offices and the lounge/chill areas, and timber flooring for the general areas. LARGE PRIVATE OFFICE

PROJECT DELIVERABLES CONCEPT STATEMENT
'"Aloha" is all about bringing back your youthful spirit, connecting you with nature, and creating a friendly space where you can enjoy your favorite beauty treatments. The cheerful atmosphere is achieved through colorful furniture, accessories, and a lively color palette of pinks, aquamarines, and whites, along with plenty of plants and neon lights with positive messages. The light wooden floors make the place feel warm and bright. To have some privacy in the main salon, a see-through white curtain paired with fairy lights lets natural light in whilst filtering the visuals from the reception. The staff room and kitchen also match the fresh look of the main areas, with the same tones on walls and materials and with the addition of a palm trees wallpaper to add that feeling of nature. PROJECT DELIVERABLES CONCEPT STATEMENT
70’s Revival aims to reflect the client’s passions and interests whilst adding a dash of nostalgia with a retro stylish look. In this concept, we would love to add Louisa’s own photographs as part of the decoration and artwork. The color scheme reflects a bolder and more stylish look created by the use of purple, green, and mustard in walls and fabrics. A feature wall in the living area gains all the protagonism with a wallpaper with flowers and combining those colours. To achieve a more sophisticated look, the accessories and light fittings were chosen in brass finish, and the fabrics on chairs and couches, are mostly velvet in dark and vibrant tones to add texture and character.
