Attention to detail is key. Effective use of material. Create solutions that have merit, but with a smaller budget. Considering limitations and accessibility. Making potentially boring/laborious information interesting. Typography in all forms. Individual experience. Print based delivery. Graphic Design with a purpose. What I’m about. ELLIE WELSH The incessant deterioration of one substance induced the desire to learn more, documenting the fermenting specimens using various methods of recording produces scope for a continually altering visual. Mould as a material, once born, becomes difďŹ cult to control; the spores constantly multiply, to maintain this state becomes a task of persistent citation. Growing the substance within a site allows for the combination and the interlocking of the mould within the environment. The work becomes site speciďŹ c and becomes a direct response of the conditions of the space, the location acts as an intervention and manipulates the outcome and the progression of fungi.
