Keelung City Hub Composite City Planning
Beautiful Keelung city surrounded by hazy mountains, cascading vallys, closely connected to the waterfront, with the early sunrise and the golden dawn, but are all filtered out by problems in the city. The city’s land usage is rather small, compressed the open spaces surrounding the waterfront. The complicated highway system disconnects both sides of Keelung, leaving the west behind. The design purpose is to improve Keelung’s living standards and the problems Keelung faces today.

Zhubei Campus Site Campus Planning/Admin.
Zhubei Campus Site is a future division of NTUST campus located at Hsinchu county, Taiwan. The site currently working on will be connected to the new site, which when will be considered into the design as well. The administration building is in the center of the site and will be the main building considered that the first building will be seen when entering campus. With a second layered bridge to create different levels of obervation into the independent studio rooms.

Light & Refractions Public Library
The sculpture design came from the lights during site visiting, the sunlight angles were sharp and bright, thus the design for this library. Usually, a lot of library are using artificial lighting, but when natural lighting is mixed into the building, better reading environment is created.

Figure & Ground
Conceptual Sculpture Design
The purpose of addition was to learn how to draw construction lines, and the different types of line weights. The purpose of subtraction exercise is to let us define the negative spaces inside the cube, and the correlation between the spaces itself. The purpose of division exercise is to explore both spaces, positive and negative. The last exercise, multiply, is to take the model in division and separate them into four different sections with different pockets. Learning the figure and ground from this excerise teaches the formation of space and void, and its realtionship in between, which is critical to architectural learning.

Cloud Wave
Installation Art/Implementation
The purpose of this installation art at the ENV studio was to set up a new style of lighting, with only one kind of item, one item was styrofoam cups. This wavy design offset different tone of lighting for the environment we are currently using. The next project was evolved from the first, using the similar circular module used in the first project, but this time it is much more rigid and environmental friendly, the PVC pipes. All of the pipes gathered were from a recylced dump, painted and later on glued together to form the bicycle rack.
