Apart from the services provided for local businesses through membership, ACRA also serves businesses and the community across its departments.

Destination Management And Group Sales

ACRA manages destination marketing funds generated by a local lodging tax. Through our award-winning Defy Ordinary campaign, the destination management program promotes Aspen as a premier, year-round destination for leisure and group visitors. Through the work of the Aspen Destination Management Plan, the marketing team also works to create community balance for residents, and educate visitors and new residents on safely and conscientiously enjoying Aspen.

Special Events

ACRA creates and attracts special events that draw local, regional and destination visitors to Aspen. We produce nationally-recognized events like the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen and ACRA’s annual Wintersköl™ celebration. The special events team works to create community vibrancy that makes Aspen unique and welcoming.

Visitor Services

ACRA operates four information centers that welcome over 90,000 visitors to Aspen each year. The staff provides referrals to local businesses and services through distribution of resort and community information.
