IF YOU HAVEN’T
By Margaret Bastick Luce Each issue I want to bring to you experiences both bold and benign, luxe and leisure, for long-time residents and transplants alike. South Florida has much to offer, and I want to be your personal guide. Follow me as we begin this journey together because if you haven’t, you should...
TRAVEL:
For locals and visitors alike, South Florida is the hub of boat shows. On a lovely March day, the family set out for the Palm Beach International Boat Show. As the boys went for the go-fast boats, I was stopped in my tracks with a hint of Lemoncello and Italians. Before I knew it, I was reminiscing with the captain aboard the handcrafted Fratelli Aprea 1890 Sorrento 32 gozzo boat. With each moment aboard, I was transported to my last trip to Capri. Instagram images are great at capturing a moment but nothing can come close to the true luxury of stepping onto the deck and gliding across the water. Slow your roll and head to the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show October 26 - 30, 2022 to experience these beautiful vessels and meet captain, Michael Sinacola II. IG @fratelliapreausa and @fratelliaprea
LUXE:
If you haven’t, you should: Cruise down Worth Avenue and slip into the warm and welcoming space of Palm Beach Facials. As most of my followers know, I tend to be on a mission with skincare. My facial by Brittnay was both enjoyable and relaxing, and to my surprise, I had a lovely nap. As we know, sleep is one of the best beauty hacks of all. IG @palmbeachfacials
SPORT:
With the calendar always full, it is nice to choose unscheduled time with friends. Nothing like the flow of conversation through movement immersed in nature to connect. One of my favorite spots is the stretch of beach from Jupiter to Juno. Taking a break at the pier to rehydrate, stretch and enjoy, it is funny to notice how small we are especially as we take in the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.
DAILY AFFIRMATION:
If you haven’t yet, today, tomorrow or next week, head to the beach, take off your shoes, greet the sunrise, and let the water work its magic. Margaret Bastick Luce. IG @margaretbastickluce
