JAMES BEARD: TASTEVARIOUS AMERICACITIES TOUR THROUGH NOVEMBER 5 The James Beard Foundation, one of America’s most prominent culinary foundations, will kick off a nationwide benefit and epicurean tour for the James Beard Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, Taste America. This ten-city tour will give diners the chance to experience custom menus, culinary demonstrations, book signings and more from JBF All Star chefs in collaboration with local chefs in Boston, Charleston, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco and the Twin Cities.
DESERT TRIP MUSIC FESTIVAL LOS ANGELES OCTOBER 7-9 & 14-16 Desert Trip, produced by Goldenvoice, the festival masterminds behind the Coachella, have put together an event that may be one of the biggest rock concerts of all time. NYC FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL NEW YORK OCTOBER 13-16 The annual New York City Wine and Food Festival brings together world-renowned chefs, sommeliers and culinary personalities to create an utter utopia by any foodie’s standards.
