Pre-opening Signature Program FAIRMONT AMBASSADOR SEOUL Before the pre-opening of FAIRMONT Ambassador Seoul, a luxury hotel brand to be first introduced in Korea, 3 training sessions were held for the manager-level staff members. The first part of the training included Understanding Luxury, Guest Group Analysis, and Luxury Market Insight. In the second part, LBI delivered the Art of Storytelling, which involved a storytelling method designed to emotionally convey the value and the rich stories of FAIRMONT to hotel guests. SAINT LAURENT Attitude for Flagship Pre-opening SAINT LAURENT For the opening of the new SAINT LAURENT flagship store, LBI delivered a luxury storytelling program for the store managers and staff members. The following programs contributed to the successful opening of the flagship store and certainly enhanced SAINT LAURENT staff’s ability to provide luxury service beyond customers’ expectations. The Luxury Attitude program reminded the participants of the importance of luxury service and emotional customer experience, and the Storytelling program helped them practice storytelling that increased the value of SAINT LAURENT products. People Management TEMPUR KOREA People Management Training was conducted for TEMPUR KOREA’s manager-level administrators. The training included the key competencies of a leader, team management and effective communication skills. The participants learned how to form a mature organizational culture and successfully manage a team by analyzing effective ways to apply leadership skills based on one’s work motivation factors and personality type and by learning about the key responsibilities of a manager, conflict management, team motivation, and effective delegation. Luxury Service Signature JOSUN PALACE SEOUL GANGNAM LBI delivered two pre-opening service trainings for the manager-level hotel employees of JOSUN PALACE SEOUL Gangnam, a Luxury Collection Hotel before its grand opening, which inherits the 100-year history and heritage of the Josun Hotel. The session was organized to identify the importance of differentiated Luxury Service Signature with the luxury hotel’s DNA and designed to continuously internalize such service through coaching and role-playing with on-site scenarios. Negotiation Skills for Your Business Bluebell Korea A Negotiation Skill training session was held for Travel Retail Development Directors of Bluebell Korea. It is often the case to use negotiation skills when expanding businesses overseas and signing contracts with various brands. Through systematic training, the directors of Bluebell Korea learned about successful negotiation techniques and were able to improve their negotiation skills by practicing various scenarios. First Korean President of LBI Rachel Kwon, former Vice President of LBI Korea has been appointed as the President of LBI Korea. President Kwon stressed that LBI will provide solutions that help the luxury industry overcome the crisis in difficult times.

Growth of Luxury Market after COVID-19 Daniel Mayran, President of Luxury Business Group was invited as a speaker at the special forum ‘Future of Luxury: Post-Covid Retail Trends' hosted by Corea Image Communication Institute(CICI) at the Embassy of Kuwait in Korea. He mentioned that the restructuring of the luxury industry would be inevitable and emphasized that as digital transformation is further enhanced, in-store customer service will also be much more exclusive and strengthened.
