What inspired you to pursue a career in real estate, and what has kept you passionate about it?

Patti: I’ve always been drawn to careers that focus on people and their experiences. Real estate felt like a natural fit because it allows me to serve others in a meaningful way. It’s incredibly fulfilling to guide clients through one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make, and that’s what keeps me energized every day—knowing I’m helping people find a place where their future memories will be made.

Tanner: Growing up around real estate, I always admired the way my mom could balance business with building genuine relationships. My competitive side was always drawn to real estate because of how well she did and how interesting of an industry it can be. I enjoy working hard (and winning) and, in real estate, you really get what you put into it.

Who has had the most significant impact on your career, and how did they influence your approach to real estate?

Patti: Prior to becoming a Realtor®, I was a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines back in the “hot pants and go-go boots days.” It was there, under the leadership of my friends, Herb Kelleher and Colleen Barrett, that I learned lasting lessons about customer care and creativity. Their approach to putting people first and thinking outside the box is how serve my clients in real estate today.

Tanner: I’d have to say my mom has had the most significant impact on my career. She’s the reason I got into real estate, and learning from her has been invaluable. Her passion, knowledge and unique approach to the business have shaped how I handle every client and transaction. couldn’t have asked for a better mentor in the industry.

When you're not working, where do you and your family love to spend time in San Antonio, and what makes it special?

Patti: Our backyard! Home is truly our favorite place to spend time with loved ones. Some of our most heartfelt conversations and biggest belly laughs have taken place on the back patio or in the pool, surrounded by family and friends. Now that we have grandkids, our backyard oasis has grown to include swings, slides, and a fort for play—and we’re even adding a zip line soon!

Tanner: have to second that. My kids love spending time at their Cappy and Joy’s house! In the summer, we’re all about the pool, and when it cools down, we gather around the fire pit. For us, family is what makes San Antonio so special.

My wife and also love taking our kids to the Pearl, especially for the Farmers Market. It’s become a weekend tradition for us, a perfect way to spend family time while supporting local businesses.

What’s one surprising fact about you that most people might not know?

Patti: Believe it or not, I used to ride a motorcycle—a Soft Tail Harley Davidson! For years, my husband and would ride together, and he still does to this day. I eventually decided to sell my bike around the time cell phones became more common. Too many people on the road just aren’t paying attention these days.

Tanner: am a die-hard soccer fan. Before moving back to San Antonio, was a season ticket holder for FC Dallas. I am a massive Manchester United fan and hardly miss a game; even the 6:00 AM kickoffs! It’s not always easy being a fan, but I stick with them through the highs and lows.
