I arrived in Texas in 2000. I am married to Rolf who was born in Germany. We met in 1996 whilst I was here on a visit. It sounds like a clichĂŠ but it was love at first sight, we married in 1997. In 2001 we bought waterfront property on Medina Lake. It is a beautiful part of the world. My mum (Audrey) moved here in 2006 after my father died. She tells everyone I sent her to Real Estate School as soon as she stepped off the plane! Not quite true but nearly. I became a Realtor in May 2005 and a Broker 2 years later. My mum and I started Hi Energy Realty, a name derived from a comment made by a client. I love working with my mum because she inspires me. This year is our 10 year anniversary. We specialize in Medina Waterfront, Lake access, views and serving our local community. Medina Lake has deep clean water, private coves and lots of wildlife. Volunteering in our local community is a way of giving back to the people we earn our living from. In 2008 we entered the Cajun Festival Gumbo Cookoff. We were no match for the Lousiana cooking experts so have been relegated to organizing it! One of our successes has been to develop a High School Culinary Division. We are very proud of the young people for their professionalism and enthusiasm.
