Day 1 Lima (154 masl) Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at the International Airport of Jorge Chavez in Lima, a representative of Domiruth/ Peru4x4adventures will receive and transfer you to your chosen hotel in the Miraflores district area. Assistance in the Check in procedure. Afterwards short briefing concerning to the expedition as well as the usage of the SUV 4x4 units and general safety regulations to be followed during the whole tour. Overnight (-)
Day 02 Lima – Ica – Nazca

Early breakfast. Early departure at 6 am with 4x4 with direction to the city of Nazca. On route, visit the city of Ica, you will also have the opportunity to visit the regional museum of Ica and stroll around the Huacachina Oasis, located in the middle of the dessert. Afterwards continue our journey to Nazca, on route we will make some short stops in order to observe in Palpa the face of the Inca and also climb a tower from where you will see part of the Nazca Lines. Also optional you may visit the museum of Maria Reiche before arriving Nazca city. Arrival in Nazca, Check in at the hotel. Overnight. (B)
Day 03 Nazca – Abancay

Early Breakfast in the hotel. Early departure with direction to Abancay city. On route we will visit Pampas Galeras. Known as the National Reserve of Vicunas and Llamas (Largest in the world) here if it is possible we will visit the small museum on Llamas and Vicunas. On this route we will drive bye Puqio city, Chalhuanca, Laguna Yauriviri located at 4,400 m.a.s.l. Also guided visit through the ruins of Tarawasi. Arrival in Abancay. Overnight. Day 04 Abancay – Sacred Valley (Total 191 Kms) Breakfast in the hotel. On route from Abancay to the Sacred Valley we will visit the famous engraved stone of Saywite, which measures 2.5 metres in height. The engraving represent flora and fauna, as well as topographic locations as well as traditional culture of the Inca Empire. We continue our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco. Day 05 Sacred Valley Breakfast in the hotel. Full day excursion in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo, Pisaq Market and its suroundings, the town of Chincheros, The salt beds of Maras and Moray Agricultural complex. Return to Urubamba. Overnight.)
Day 06 Sacred Valley – MachuPicchu – Cusco Early Breakfast. Transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Departure by train in vistadome to Aguas Calientes in a beautiful panoramic ride. Arrival in Aguas Calientes. Outside the train station crossing over the market of Aguas Calientes hop on the bus and 35 minute uphill bus ride to the very entrance of Machu Picchu citadel. 2 hours guided visit through the ruins. In the afternoon return to the train station and board your train back to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. (B)
Day 07 Cusco Breakfast in the hotel. Today, visit to the 4 nearby ruins: Kenko, Pucapucara, Tambomachay and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. In the afternoon visit the Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Main Square of the Imperial Capital. Overnight. (B)
Day 08 Cusco - Puno (Cusco - Puno Total 395 Kms.) Breakfast in the hotel. 4x4 expedition from Cusco to Puno. In this route you will see beautiful landscapes and spectacular tourist attractions. On route you will visit Andean towns and also following attractions such as Tipon, Pikillacta, Rumicolca, Andahuaylillas, La Raya (known as frontier between Cusco department and Puno, also the highest point of the route), Raqchi, Pucara. Day 09 Puno – Lago Titicaca - Puno Breakfast. Transfer to the pier from where your full day tour will start on the Titicaca Lake, known as the highest navigable lake in the world (3,800 m.a.s.l). Visit the floating Islands of the Uros, the ancient people of the Uros is a ethnicity that lives in these waters for thousands of years and live from the fishing and handcrafts. We continue our tour by boat to the Taquile Island, in which we will walk through this beautiful island and meet local farmers as well as visit the main square. Return by boat to Puno city. Day 10 Puno - Colca (Puno - Colca Total 395 Kms.) Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Chivay in the Colca Canyon. On route we will visit the Chullpas de Sillustani known as a pre-Inca burial site surrounded by the beautiful and spectacular lake of Umayo. On route we will pass bye another beautiful lake known as Lagunillas. We will also drive bye the towns and cities of Juliaca, Santa Lucia and Imata. Before arriving at Chivay we will stop at the mirador Patapampa that reaches 4,950 m.a.s.l. Arrival at Chivay. In the afternoon, visit the thermal baths of la Calera. Return to Chivay and overnight (B)
Day 11 Colca - Arequipa (Colca - Arequipa Total 148 Kms.) Breakfast in the hotel. Very early in the morning we depart to visit the observation point of La Cruz del Condor (41 kms from Chivay) from where we can, on a good day the flight of the Condor over the Colca Canyon. We return to Chivay but previously on route we will drive bye following towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, Yanque Observation point of Antahuilque and Choquetico. Afterwards departure to Arequipa city. Arrival and overnight. (B)
Day 12 Arequipa - Camana - Puerto Inca - Nazca Breakfast in the hotel. Early departure to the city of Nazca. On route we will appreciate the landscape and also visit Puerto Inca. Puerto Inca is a pre-Inca and Inca fishing town in which you can also enjoy at the restaurant excellent and typical fish food. Continuing our journey we depart to Sacaco which lies at Km 550 of the Panamericana Highway. Sacaco is a paleontological Museum where you can observe both inside and outside whale structures, which date back to millions of years. Arrival in Nazca. Check Inn and overnight. (B)
Day 13 Nazca - Ica (Nazca - Ica Total 149 kms) Early in the morning wake up call and transfer to the Nazca Airport in order to board you flight over the Nazca Lines (Subject to Climate and Weather Conditions and depending of the time of year). After your flight over the Nazca Lines we return to the hotel in order to take our breakfast and check out. Important to take note that you luggage should already be packed before leaving to your flight over the Nazca Lines, in case flight is delayed we may return to the hotel and take breakfast otherwise you will loose the possibility to take your breakfast. Visit the Cahuachi Pyramid known today as one of the largest sand city of its time. From this very place the Nazca Lines were born and were used for religious beliefs of the ancient inhabitants of Cahuachi. Cahuachi is located 28 kms from Nazca City. We continue our journey to the city of Ica (2hrs drive) Arrival and overnight. (B) Optional: Full Day San Fernando (For this adventure 4x4 excursion it is required that you stay one additional night in Nazca or Ica. ) In this excursion we will drive through sand dunes reaching nearly 1000 m.a.s.l overlooking the bay of San Fernando. San Fernando bay is located nearly 70 kms from Nazca city, and it is in this peculiar place you may observe the Condor, Humboldt Penguins, Sea Lions, Guanacos, Dessert Foxes and other typical dessert fauna. A box lunch or a BBQ is possible this under specific request of the client
Day 14 Ica - Paracas - Lima (Ica – Paracas - Lima Total 303 kms) Breakfast. Early in the morning departure to Paracas in order to board your boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, from where you will observe sea lions, seals, Humboldt penguins and many other bird species. After with our 4x4 units we will visit the National Reserve of Paracas, this area is protected because it contains many endangered species, which are interesting to watch and observe. We continue our journey back to Lima. Arrival and overnight. (B)
