Day 1 :Lima A

rrival at Lima's international airport, reception and transfer by executive car to your selected five star hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Overnight. (D)

Day 2: Lima – Puno – Suasi Island B

reakfast at the hotel. Early transfer to the airport to board a private flight to Puno. Arrival at Puno's airport. Reception and transfer to the only privately held island in vast Lake Titicaca, tiny Isla Suasi - just 43 hectares - is a singularly beautiful, serene place. Arrival at the hotel and free afternoon to acclimatize. Lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Overnight. (B, L, D)


Day 3: Suasi Island B

reakfast at the hotel. Today you can do a varity of activities of your choosing, such as: Nature walks: Follow a series of gentle island trails to observe native plants & animals with a specialized guide. Spot native bird species, including black cormorants and cinnamon teals; camelids, including rare wild vicuĂąas; and vizcachas, small, rabbitlike creatures. Canoeing Lake Titicaca: Take advantage of the lodge's fleet of light Canadian fiberglass canoes to paddle the placid lake waters and the 6km /3.5mi circumference of the island, spotting birds and wildlife in caves, inlets and crevices. Boating on Titicaca: Hop aboard a motorized Zodiac dinghy (capacity: 16) and circle the island, spotting birds and other wildlife, or embark on a wooden boat to the community of CambrĂ­a. Sunset on Cerro Itapilluni: In late-afternoon, trek up to Suasi's high point, Itapilluni Hill, for sunset, when surreal colors streak the high-altitude sky. For some visitors, it's a near-mystical experience. Cultural Hut: Take a guided visit to a small museum & library - housed in the original eco-refuge established by the former owner of the Island - and learn about the topography of Lake Titicaca, its languages and culture, textiles, history and religion. Stargazing & Nightly Bonfires: The expansive sky over Titicaca, with so little artificial light in any direction, is superb to observe Southern Hemisphere constellations. An astronomy-trained guide leads guests in viewing stars and planets with a Bushnell telescope and explains Inca cosmology. Then relax with a nightcap at a blazing bonfire in the fire pit near the lodge.


Day 4: Suasi Island B

reakfast at the hotel. In the morning we start a adventurous 5-hour trek on the mainland climbs to the peak of v (4,300 m./14,100 ft) and affords spectacular views of Lake Titicaca, including its islands and even Bolivia's distant Cordillera Real mountain range. En route, visit the local Aymara communities of Cambria and trek along ancient pathways used for centuries by the Aymara people to travel among villages. The duration of the trek is of 5 hours, and it's only reccommended for people in top physical condition. And alternative to these day's activity is to explore the ancient belief systems of the Andean people with an Aymara shaman from the community of Cambría. You'll be part of the tradition of making offerings to Pacha Mama, or Mother Earth; chew coca leaves like locals; and observe “Yaitiri” spiritual offerings, a ritual with ancient roots that in colonial times became fused with Christianity. Return to the hotel for lunch and dinner. Overnight. (B, L, D)


Day5: Suasi Island – Puno B

reakfast at the hotel. On the last day of your stay at the private aisland you'll embark on a full day excursion (on speedboats) in the highest navigable lake of the world. First you will visit the Taquile Island where you will have the opportunity to appreciate the their handicraft and textiles. Lunch in Taquile. Then the journey continues to the floating Islands of Uros which are inhabited by the old Aymara. These people have kept their traditions and customs generation after generation. Arrival to the Casa Andina Private Collection hotel's pier in Puno, where you'll spend the night. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Overnight. (B, L, D)


Day 6: Puno – Lima B

reakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board a private flight back to Lima. Lunch at HervĂŠ Restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll start the city tour of Lima including a guided visit to the cathedral, the main square and the San Francisco Catacombs. Visit to the Larco Museum. Dinner at La Huaca Pucllana Restaurant. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Lima B
