Ba Khan, Located 100km Northwest of Hanoi, Ba Khan is one of the less visited and mysterious destination in the province of Hoa Binh, the Ba Khan town includes 3 villages: Ha Khan, Khan and Khan Thuong Ho which lies on the slope of the valley of Mai Chau and Moc Chau. Getting to Ba Khan is not that difficult, from Hanoi, take the national road 6 to Hoa Binh province, then follow a small path that takes you to Ba Khan, and keep drive for 20km to reach the beautiful landscapes where Ba Khan is located in the mid lush valley.
It was once a large virgin mountain region but the area has become large dam water following the construction of the hydroelectric plant in Hoa Binh in 1979. Until now, it is an attractive place for all travelers and is better known by the name Ba Khan.
