L PROF IL E
I have worn many hats in my time - printer, binder, designer, artworker, architectural assistant and illustrator. Having immersed myself in different industries, I am confident with taking on different roles and managing muti-disiplinary projects.
As an recent graduate with Environmental Analysis and Studio Art, I went on to explore my ability as a young designer by taking on local projects; working for architecture firm, non-profit organization, and individual
P
I paint occasionally, I draw quite often and I am always fixed to my computer working on something creative. I take pleasure in bringing out the creativity in people through designs that reflect their imagination and ideals.

Through this project I explored the potentiality in tranforming 3D into 2D. I was curious in learning digital perspetive drawing through illustrator. This design is inspired by the way legos worked and I applied polygon as overall gridline and drew each shapes from the guide.

S el f P ubl ishe d B o ok Et h i c a l Fash i on Gu ide When my friend Cheri asked me to collaborate on this project, I was intrigued by the concept of a guide to “ Ethical Fashion” as it opened up many questions: What counts as ethical con- sumption? Can consumption be ethical? What can we do about it? and so on. For me, working on this project has been an invitation to explore what ethical fashion means as it continues to evolve and diversify. It has also been exciting to learn from the many amazing Claremont students who contributed to this guide. I’m honored to have designed the many pieces in this guide and attempted to come up with creative layouts to emphasis the main message of each piece.

Eve nt Poste r Pitz er C ol l e ge This poster was my second comissions through Pitzer College Diverity Board. I was aksed to design a poster for a celebration event. The human line face represents the common identity we shared as people of color, and the color glitch background echos through the chaotic and complex environment we are living in in these days.

DESIGN CONCE
Krusemyntegade | Copenhagen DIS Study Abroad Program Project 2 Luyi Huang | December 4, 2018 This site is located in a quiet residential street in central Copenhagen. Two of the surrounding buildings comes relatively different in terms of height and facade. On one side is a five-story apartment built in 1850 for middle class unmarried or widowed women. On the other side is a row of two stories height single-family house. One of the design challenges come as to how to incorporate the community house into existing buildings and more importantly, how to manage to fit into programs in a relatively small space. The design concept is initiated from floor plan diagrams where the ground floor is mandated to have a three meters wide fire exist but the total maximum width of the site is around 9 meters. Thereby limited programs were put on the ground floor. Circulation system was formed in an enclosed space which also serves a fire escape purposes. Tilted walls on the ground floor aim to lead the visitors into the building as well as to the courtyard.
