Welcome to the Vegas Chamber! We are proud to celebrate the achievements the Vegas Chamber made in 2019, as well as share our vision for the coming year. I am happy to report that 2019 was a year of significant accomplishments at the Vegas Chamber. This year the Chamber introduced our new Association Retirement Plan. This group 401(k) plan gives you an affordable way to offer a retirement benefit to help you and your employees save for the future. We are proud to be the first chamber in the country to offer this new member benefit. In 2019, the Vegas Chamber formed a partnership with the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) to take the largest delegation of business and community leaders to Washington, D.C. During our Washington, D.C. Fly-In, the Chamber and LVGEA advocated for the federal policies that our region needs to grow, such as building Interstate 11, expanding Interstate 15, connecting Las Vegas to Southern California with high-speed rail, and protecting Las Vegas with more Homeland Security funding. And in 2019, the Chamber joined with the LVGEA and Workforce Connections to produce the landmark Workforce Blueprint 2.0 report identifying the jobs that will be in greatest demand in our region over the next decade. This report is a roadmap to employability. Its information connects the dots between the needs of employers and the training our workers need to gain good paying jobs and fruitful careers. The next year promises to be even more exciting at the Chamber. Beginning with Preview Las Vegas, you will see our events elevated even more to drive more value to you. We will rollout even more ways for you to engage at the Chamber to help your business succeed, and we will unveil a new brand that reflects a Chamber that is evolving along side our community. Thank you for your membership in the Vegas Chamber. I wish you success and prosperity in 2020.
