Standard paint finishes and Paint Colour Options
Painted rails are sandblasted prior to powder coating, which greatly increases paint adhesion and corrosion resistance. We only use Akzo Nobel paint, one of the World’s highest quality paint manufacturers. Paint Colour Options have an estimated 8 week lead time.
Quartz Finishes
With so many colours and finishes to choose from, the Quartz glass fronted ranges can be utilised in any part of the house. Whether you want a mist-free mirror in the bathroom or a radiator to match your tiles, splashbacks, furniture and more, these glass-fronted radiators can offer the perfect solution. Quartz radiators have a 3 week lead time.
Highest Quality Chrome Plating
The preparation of our radiators for chroming involves specialised, multi-stage polishing and cleaning. The decorative chrome plating is enhanced by the double-Nickel plating applied to the highly polished mild steel, followed by chrome plating. This offers superior corrosion resistance, durability and a contemporary appearance. Multiple salt spray tests have proven that this is the highest quality chrome plating for decorative radiators, designed to withstand the high levels of humidity in the bathroom and repeated temperature variation cycles. The stress of these factors on chrome-plated radiators is so great that it can in time lead to cracks in the Nickel and Chrome layers, causing oxidisation of the exposed steel and exfoliation of the chrome. We are so confident in the durability of our chrome radiators that we guarantee them for 10 years.
Stainless Steel
So confident are we of the robust quality of our stainless steel, we are prepared to guarantee it for 25 years. Made from 100% recyclable, eco-friendly, solid stainless steel- an excellent choice when corrosion resistance is important- our towel rails are suitable for fitting on most types of heating systems and will provide higher heat output than the equivalent sized chrome plated options.

Electric Options
Once you have chosen your desired radiator, choose your electric option. The cost of your chosen electric option should be added to the cost of the radiator. Your radiator is then converted into a sealed electric unit, ready to be connected to your electric power supply.
The Standard Electric option does not come with an adjustable temperature control. We recommend employing the use of a wall plate controller, so that you are able to adjust the output of your radiator.

Important Information:
Internal Operating Temperature Range of towel rail or radiator using this element: 65°C (note: with standard electric elements, the surface temperature of towel rails (specifically chrome plated towel rails) can get hotter than 65°C (up to 70/80°C in some cases) due to various factors (capacity, surface area, material type etc). Consider thermostatic or other regulatory devices if surface temperature could be an issue for you. Electric radiators should only be fitted in the bathroom by a qualified electrician, in accordance with IEE regulations. Prices to be added to cost of the radiator.

Once you have chosen your desired radiator, choose your electric option. The cost of your chosen electric option should be added to the cost of the radiator. Your radiator is then converted into a sealed electric unit, ready to be connected to your electric power supply.

Hybrid Heating (Dual Fuel) kits enable you to use your towel rail on your central heating system or as an electric option, when the central heating is not being used. Simply ask your fitter for operating instructions.
The cost of your chosen Hybrid Heating option should be added to the cost of the radiator. Radiator valves will also be required for Hybrid Radiators (please see pages 77 & 78).
The Standard Hybrid Heating option does not come with an adjustable control. We recommend employing the use of a wall plate controller, so that you are able to adjust the output of your radiator.

Radox Radiators Ltd provides wall plugs and screws that are only suitable for fitting on concrete and brick walls. Our wall plugs and screws are designed to be used exclusively for the purpose of fitting radiators and towel rails. It is the responsibility of the fitter to ensure that the wall is suitable for the installation of our products and to determine if any additional support or fixings are required.
Radox Radiators Ltd accepts no liability for any damage or injury that may occur as a result of the fitting of our products on an unsuitable wall. By using our wall plugs and screws, the fitter assumes full responsibility for the installation and any associated risks.
The mild/carbon steel radiators are for use on closed heating systems only; they are NOT suitable for installation on secondary (open/domestic hot water) circuits.
After installation, the entire system must be thoroughly cleaned and flushed to remove any remaining residues, followed by dosing the system with a suitable water treatment solution to prevent corrosion, in accordance with BS 5449: 1990, BS EN 12828: 2003 and BS 7593: 1992
The Stainless-Steel radiators are made from highly polished, 304 grade solid stainless-steel, which offers a high resistance to corrosion and are suitable to use in most types of heating systems.

Returns Policy
Unwanted Goods are expected to be returned in their original packaging and should be returned within 30 days; 20% re-stocking charge on returns or a minimum charge of £25 +VAT will usually apply, but this will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may depend on the Goods being returned.
Items delivered must be checked for damages and/or aesthetic imperfections BEFORE installation. Installed items are deemed to be ‘accepted’ and are non-returnable.
Made-to-order items (bespoke sizes and finishes, glass radiators and electric towel rails and radiators) are non-returnable.
Any discrepancies with orders (size, finish, quantity, etc.) should be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Please check your delivery carefully. If you notice any signs of damage to the items or packaging, please sign for the goods as ‘damaged’ as a precaution and report this to Radox Radiators Ltd immediately (no claims can be made with our courier after 24 hours following delivery of the Goods).
Carriage Important
Orders totalling a value of less than £50 + VAT will incur a carraige charge of £5 +VAT.
Carriage charges may apply for some large, fragile items.
Radox reserves the right to change designs and specifications in the interest of product development, without prior notice.
Custom made items are non-returnable – this includes electrical items. Please contact the office for further information.
