Feeder lambs were steady to 10.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter ewes were unevenly steady. In the goats, slaughter kids traded unevenly steady to sharply lower on a light test, while slaughter nannies/does traded mostly 10.00 – 15.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter bucks/billies and wethers traded sharply lower on a light test. Trade activity and demand were moderate. In the sheep supply approximately 25% slaughter lambs, 23% feeder lambs, 52% slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 67% slaughter kids, 17% slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.

Steers weighing over 600 lbs were steady, with the highest demand for yearlings. Feeder heifers were fairly steady, with instances of 5.00 higher. Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good. Today’s run of cattle consisted mostly of pre-conditioned weaned cattle and featured several lots of yearlings. The supply comprised of 98% feeder cattle with the balance being bred cows and pairs. In the feeder supply 63% steers, 37% heifers with 34% of the supply weighing over 600 lbs.
