CENTENNIAL LIVESTOCK AUCTION WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13, 2015 SHEEP AND LAMB AUCTION STATE ANDFEDERAL REPORTING Compared to a week ago: Slaughter lambs traded 5.00 to sharply higher. Slaughter ewes and bucks were 2.00 – 10.00 higher. There was not enough feeder lambs for an adequate market test. In the goat supply slaughter kids traded steady to sharply higher. Slaughter nannies/does traded mostly steady to 10.00 higher, while bucks/billies and wethers were sharply higher in a light test. Trade activity and demand was good. In the sheep supply 45% slaughter lambs, 2% feeder lambs, 28% slaughter ewes and bucks and the remainder were bottle lambs ranging from 8-28 lbs that sold mostly at 12.00 – 21.00 per head. The goat supply consisted of 53% slaughter kids with the balance slaughter nannies, billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
