Feeder lambs were mostly steady. Slaughter ewes were mostly steady and slaughter bucks were steady. In goats slaughter kids were unevenly steady, while slaughter nannies were steady. Slaughter billies and wethers were sharply higher. Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 38 percent slaughter lamb and 19 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter and breeding ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 60 percent slaughter and feeder kids, 35 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs are sold on a per cwt basis and goats on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
