01 BE FRIEND WITH FLOOD
Landscape Planning and Design of Riverfront Green Space in Chengdu Qingbaijiang 1956 Grand Times Area
Location: Chengdu, China
Type: Urban Design, Groupwork
Role in team: Context Analysis(80%), Concept and Strategy(70%), Master Plan Drawing(50%), Module Design & Rendering(100%)
Qingbaijiang District is an important northeast ecological barrier of the whole Chengdu ecosphere. It is also an important section on the green ring of the city of Qingbaijiang District in the future, and the image section of the Green Belt Gateway of Wisdom Avenue.
As Qingbaijiang District is located in a flood relief area, how to live with floods is our main concern. On the city scale, according to the data, we identified the most vulnerable flood-prone areas in 20-year and 50-year floodplains and proposed resilient riverbanks to create a diverse landscape atmosphere in wet and dry seasons. On the local scale, ecological parks at different sections of the river were linked by ecological corridors with varying characteristics to bring people closer to the water and enrich their spatial experience.

02 THE CORNERS
Renovation of a pocket park in a hutong area within Beijing's Second Ring Road
Location: Dongcheng, Beijing, China
Type: Landscape Architecture, Individual
My family and I have a unique and deep affection for the Liupuang community outside Beijing's second ring road. My grandma and grandpa came to Beijing from the northeast of China during the reform and opening up of the country, and later settled in a house allocated to them by their unit, and eventually had our family.
Through the design of the community park, I hope that the elderly people living in the compound and in the hutongs will regain their enthusiasm for life, walking birds in the park, listening to comedy, singing Beijing opera, dancing in the square, playing shuttlecock, shaking bamboo, etc., and having a happy mood even on their way to buy groceries.
10
The Corner Park is located on the south side of the North Second Ring Road, adjacent to the old Gulou Street to the west, surrounded by hutong residential areas, and across the moat to the north is the Xinmin vegetable market and the family areas of many ministry compounds.

FLOATING TIME
Visitor-oriented transformation of a coastal industrial site
Location: Boston, America
Type: Landscape Architecture, Individual
With countless naval warships and derelict shipyards, the port of Boston bears witness to the rapid development of the United States in recent times. Today, Boston's harbour attracts many visitors with its excellent location, unique city skyline and delicious lobster. As a major international city, it is therefore imperative that the old shipyards are upgraded and improved.
In order to meet the needs of local residents and foreign visitors, to preserve the dockyard site and to restore the coastal ecology, I have selected three representative sites in the harbour for renovation. The use of topography and vegetation to rejuvenate dilapidated walls, to create activity areas and green open spaces, and to alleviate urban problems.

DANCE IN RAIN
Design of linear under-bridge spaces and rainwater recycling systems
Location: Haidian, Beijing, China
Type: Landscape Architecture, Individual
The site is located at the Wudaokou underground station on line 13, south to the Hualian shopping mall and north to the Tsinghua Tongfang office building. The site is surrounded by a complex nature of land, with many types of people.
As students of nearby universities, we affectionately call Wudaokou the “Centre of the universe”. I have translated my passion for the most central business district around the school into a flexible curved design language, hoping to breathe life into this negative space under the light rail bridge through the placement of green space and sports fields.
