My approach is to analyze homes that have sold in the area in great detail, including those homes that have sold off market, expired or relisted. The key to getting the highest and best price is to price the home just slightly under current market value, along with taking into account the special features that make the home stand out in the market. Overpricing causes a home to sit on the market and lose the necessary momentum for sale.”

Homes under $2M are selling fairly quickly, but still need to be priced appropriately to sell. Naturally, we look at the neighborhood comparables and consider any unique features of the home. We work with our sellers to price it where they’re comfortable and we are very honest if we feel it’s priced too low or too high. Or goal is to sell their home, and pricing is a big element.”

I believe it is important to recognize those individuals who have served in the past and those serving as active duty in our military. San Diego is very lucky to have the USS Midway as a superb example of our country’s commitment to support freedom throughout the world. At the Midway, we are reminded of the catastrophic events of World War II. It’s a treasure because we don’t have many still alive that helped pave the way to the wonderful life we live today. But it also reminds us that in America we are still threatened by world events. Many of these might cause fearfulness. But as I look at our military, I am heartened by the fact that the same allegiance to country, to freedom and to democracy is deeply imbedded in today’s all-volunteer armed forces – just as it was when I served our country. %
