2014 Preseason Volleyball Prospectus Points of Pride - Fighting Knights made four consecutive NCAA postseason appearances in 2007-10

- Devon Woolard is only the second player at Lynn to earn CoSIDA All-Academic First Team honors for three consecutive years

- Lynn set school records for wins in seasons, posting 24 victories in 2008

- Michelle Newman became the first volleyball player to be inducted in the Lynn Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008

- The Fighting Knights tallied at least 20 wins from 2007-10

- The Lynn volleyball team claimed the Knights Cup for the fifth consecutive year in the 2013-14 year

- In 2010, Lynn finished a program-best tied for second in the Sunshine State Conference, setting a program record for leagues wins with 11 while landing three players on the All-SSC team in Lacy Redwine, Haley Pratt and Devon Woolard

- Kara Bailey earned the 2012 Lynn University Trustees Award

- In 2008, Lynn finished third in the Sunshine State Conference standings for the second time in three seasons - Lynn totals six AVCA All-America selections with Lacy Redwine (2010) and Devon Woolard (2010) representing the most recent Fighting Knights to earn the accolade - Daris Rodriguez became the program’s first All-American, earning AVCA Honorable Mention accolades in 2007 and matching the accolade with fellow senior Camila Lins in 2008 - Lacy Redwine set the single-season program record for digs with 640 and digs per set with 5.85 in 2010 and ranked among the nation’s top-10 in each category - Three Fighting Knights broke career marks in 2008: Daris Rodriguez set the all-time record for block assists (212) and total blocks (242); Christie Schade topped the digs record with 1,808; Devon Woolard broke the assists mark with 2,284 - Lynn set single-season team records for kills (1743), assists (1563), digs (1969) block assists (431), total blocks (268.5) and blocks per set (2.12) in 2008 - In 2006, Larissa Witherspoon became the first player in program history to amass 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career - Lynn has earned nine straight AVCA Team Academic Awards; the only Sunshine State Conference program to do so - Head coach Lynze Roos became the program leader in career wins with a 3-0 victory over West Alabama on October 12, 2007 - In eight seasons as head coach, Lynze Roos has posted a record over .500 seven times.

- Former assistant coach Jessy Roy was named to the AVCA’s inaugural Thirty Under 30 Award list in 2008; one of five honorees from an NCAA Division II program and only one of two D-II assistant coaches - Michelle Newman was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, earning third team honors in 2001 and first team accolades in 2003; Devon Woolard joined her as a two-time CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American in 2009 and 2010 while Kala Abdell also earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors in 2010
