I am the Parent Participation Worker for Bedford Borough. The idea behind the development of a Parent Carer Forum is to build a community of parent carers who work in partnership with the local services (education, social care, NHS) and who are actively involved and included in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the services accessed by children and families with special educational needs and disabilities.
