brief exhibition is designed for graduating class of 2014, the year end show, at washington university in st louis. design competition winners in collaboration with alicia ajayi. built in spring 2014. the conception of stalagmite was inspired by what is above and “grows like the rock formation that ascends from the ground in a cave environment. the angled lines of the display responds to the triangulated geometry of the dynamic ceiling in steinberg gallery. the display itself is an extruded triangle, with a pair of faceted surfaces on each side of the prism. exhibitions often present the opportunity to explore one’s thoughts and process through their craft. the unitized system allows for flexibility in shape, as well as arrangement in the open gallery space.

brief capturing moments and space: from people, to light and shadows, there is always something to celebrate through the lenses. photography is a way of capturing the moments at the pace which cannot be rendered in other types of media. it is a another way for me to appreciate the world, a way to explore and synthesize inspirations. photographs are taken by both film and digital cameras
