located in one of the highest traffic, both padrestrian and vehicular, neighborhoods in bangkok. this architecture seeks to simualte forms of nature in creation of peaceful dwelling environment. inspired from sleek and curved lines of canyon, mountain hills, valleys. Depicted organic form to convey serenity and tranquility.

brief
responding to the client and city’s desire to attract large tenants, a typical office floor plate averages 52,000 sf and is serviced by two central elevator cores. a centralized core with building services gives the building flexibility to service multiple tenants and the floor plate cuts in and out to maximize natural light. due to its urban surroundings and recent trends in creating hospitable office spaces for employees, shaded outdoor terraces are offered for employees to gather, retreat, work or simply enjoy views that extend to the santa cruz mountains and diablo mountain range.

brief the sophistication of sciences and arts in the making process of molecular gastronomy, the so-called “modern-cuisine,” is often available to very specific target groups. this institute not only seek to expand, educated, and entertain the greater public, but it also synthesizes with the neighborhood as a new language of urban infill. through transparencies,A1the new architecture exposes itself D1 to its B1 A2 context as a narrative which interchanges and connects an experience of molecular gastronomy.

stalagmite with alicia ajayi, competition, first prize location: steinberg hall, st. louis, mo size: 1,800 sqf [exhibition space]
brief
the conception of stalagmite was inspired by what is above and “grows� like the rock formation that ascends from the ground in a cave environment. the angled lines of the display responds to the triangulated geometry of the dynamic ceiling in steinberg gallery. the display itself is an extruded triangle, with a pair of faceted surfaces on each side of the prism. exhibitions often present the opportunity to explore one’s thoughts and process through their craft. the unitized system allows for flexibility in shape, as well as arrangement in the open gallery space.

brief
testing the limits and new innovations of concrete are the driving force of this project. initially conceptualizing with an artifact, then formulate the complexity and systematize those to architectural design. the building houses laboratories, classrooms, and an atrium that circulates the connections between them all.

brief
the octave housing recomposes the site as a new st. Louis artistic scene, reconnecting the submerged metrolink station, and grand boulevard above. this 100-unit housing project promotes the artist living and performance space within the units, as well as a pleasant living environment for the non-artists. every two units are designed to emerge, creating a shared courtyard that overlooks the artists’ performance ground. the project introduces a full range of pitch to the city, reactivating the people, the cultures, and the urban fabric.
