01 FOUR-DIMENSION SPACE Community Centre for Chenjiaqiao Subdistrict
Type:Academic/Individual work Location: Chongqing, China Time: 06/2018-07/2018, 4th Semester Supervisor: Kuntao Peng (pekutao@sina.com)
Chenjiaqiao Street is a community consisting of several residential districts, some of which are still under construction. And people living there are of different ages occupations and social status. In this community, residents are in urgent need of public activities space and communication space. To provide activities and communication space for residents, I come up with a space system combining two types of public space. The first one is "boxes" used as fixed-function spaces like the library and office. They are not arranged based on layers but in a dispersive way. Another type of space is spaces linking different boxes and the site, which is used as both transport space and communication space. This type of space is open and flexible and it is the main generator of communication and social events, especially between strangers.

02 A DRIVERLESS FUTURE Architecture Design Based on Driveless Technology
Type:Academic/Individual work Location: Chongqing, China Time: 08/2020-09/2020, 9th Semester Supervisor: Can Ge, (can_ge@berkeley.edu)
New technology is shaping our urban space and lifestyle every d a y, s o m e o f w h i c h c a n t o t a l l y c h a n g e p e o p l e ` s w a y s o f l i f e and the relationship between building and human beings. This proposal envisages the form and function of building in the future shaped by driverless technology. As driverless cars develop, people don't need to spend time and energy on driving and the car space will be more flexible. So cars will be more than a means of moving people and products, but a moving space featuring a changeable function, which means people can moving their home, office, and even public space. So the future city complex may be a huge parking building, gathering all the urban space into a high-rise building, and roads will be an important framework of the building.

03 BLOCK+ Urban Renewal of Qipaifang District
Type:Academic/Individual work Location: Chongqing, China Time: 03/2020-05/2020, 8th Semester Supervisor: Haoyan Wei (cquwhy@cqu.edu.cn)
Qipaifang district is a typical old residential district in the urban central area of Chongqing. Although it is in close proximity to the commercial district and has good transport conditions, it has no vitality and in urgent need of renewal and upgrade. This proposal provides two systems for this site to solve its problems like being squashed by two residential districts and lacking public space for residents——a loop and two streets. The streets take use of its commercial foundation rooting in its history and were transformed into busy business streets and a vertical park at the same time. The loop is a fitness trail and connects every block`s public space. Every block`s public space has a theme and they are flowing because of the connecting trail, so they can serve all the residents in the district. Other strategies like transforming main roads into shared space are also proposed.

SITE ANALYSIS
The site is located in the urban central area of Yuzhong District, Chongqing. The site enjoys convenient transport and amenities, residents there can go to the hospital, school, stadium and shopping mall easily by public or private transport. However, the site itself is an inanimate place and forgotten by people in the bustling background of city life. All drawings are drawn by Li Yuxi

04 URBAN ART MUSEUM Campus Design of Sichuan Art University
Type:Academic/Individual work Location: Chongqing, China Time: 03/2019-05/2019, 5th Semester Supervisor: Kuntao Peng (pekutao@sina.com)
Sichuan Art University is one of the most prestigious art universities in China. Every day a large number of visitors come here to see the exhibition and travel on the campus. I propose to make the whole campus become an art museum and the teaching district is open to visitors. Students` artworks can be exhibited on the platform behind their teach building, which means they can have close interaction with visitors and residents. As the site has rugged terrain, I chose to respect the original topography and reserve all the small hills on the campus. In the middle of the campus where the terrain is relatively flat is a green belt used as ecological green land and to provide a sight gallery of the mountain in the west. The proposal also takes sustainability into consideration, including stormwater management, energy generation, ecology preservation, and health and wellness.

SITE ANALYSIS
Sichuan Art University is located in the University town of Chongqing, which is an enclave of Shapingba District. Although far from the city centre, Sichuan Art University has convenient access to the hight-dense city central area by light rail. So it`s convenient for visitors to come to visit the campus.
