CASA VEGANO
SPRING 2018
STUDIO 5 RESTAURANT & BAR
M
INDIVIDUAL PROJECT PROGRAMS USED: REVIT & PHOTOSHOP
M CONCEPT:
The restaurant's name “ Casa Vegano”, meaning “Vegan House” in English, communicates the restaurant’s overall concept of community. In the Italian culture, having a place of gathering for family and friends is important in their daily life. The menu of the restaurant consists of plant based dishes, which cater not only towards the growing popularity in the young Italian culture but also worldwide. Spatially, the design consists of the dining area as a central focal point with the other elements surrounding the central axis. The mezzanine is designed to be a casual place of gathering where locals and tourists are welcomed at anytime of the day to grab an espresso or traditional Italian pastries. Seating arrangements are designed with flexibility with custom banquettes and screens. The design will also feature traditional Italian materials, as well as sustainable and environmentally friendly materials which supports the vegan lifestyle.

STUDIO 4 COTTAGE HOME INDIVIDUAL PROJECT
M
PROGRAMS USED: AUTOCAD & HAND DRAFTING
M CONCEPT:
My approach to designing the cottage for my clients is to draw inspiration from trees. The clients enjoy nature and want to emphasize nature's presence throughout the interior. Trees have unique organic forms and each tree contains its own history and/or story. In addition, through the use of organic forms and materials used throughout the design, a sense of unity with the exterior landscape will be present. The main idea will be to bring elements of nature into the interior. Moreover, through an open concept plan, the cottage will have multiple sight lines to the surrounding views, creating a visual connection to nature. The design will also include multiple windows and openings to the outdoors, optimizing natural daylight and natural ventilation. Overall, the cottage will become a place for the clients to build new roots, create new stories, and be a welcoming place for the clients to call home.

STUDIO 6 WORKPLACE
M
INDIVIDUAL PROJECT PROGRAMS USED: REVIT & PHOTOSHOP
M CONCEPT:
The design of the Communitech co-working workplace encourages a sense of community and synergy. The sense of community in the office was inspired by ant colonies, in which all the ants work together in a team bringing their own individual skills to create something greater than themselves. In the co-working environment each worker will feel a sense of place through the colour palette, furniture systems and architecture materials showcased to achieve a design that is inclusive and barrier free. Overall, the design enhances workers’ engagement and commitment to the company while most importantly allowing users a space that supports their creative and most authentic selves.

BANK OF AMERICA
WINTER 2019
STUDIO 7 PAVE COMPETITION
M
GROUP PROJECT TEAM: ALESSANDRA MASI PROGRAMS USED: REVIT & PHOTOSHOP
M CONCEPT:
The design of the pop-up retail bank delivers an omni-banking experience to empower college students on every step of their ďŹ nancial journey. The bank will feature a exible seminar space and will encourage connection with people, technology, and the community. The decision to include a live teller instead of a virtual teller reinforces the omni-channel experience and provides a mediator between digital and physical platforms. Tablets, touch screens, and customizable video conference rooms allow users to connect to modern technology for all of their banking needs. The Bank of America brand will be enhanced by incorporating graphics of their history to illustrate their expertise and reliability amongst banking communities.
