Physical Model
-1/4" = 1'-0� scale model with full material depiction. Bricks are etched into the base and wood slates are laid individually on both the top and underside of the roof piece and the floor of main loggia space. Roof is an independent form with accurate pitch and impluvium opening. Sea sponge used to give the effect of hedge that frames the site. Resin was poured to signify the water that would pool at the bottom of the reflecting pool and the canal that wraps around the brick patios with floating steps and platforms.
