Holistic clinic This project was commissioned by the Urology Department of the Columbia Medical Center. The idea was to create a clinic for holistic treatment for patients with cancer. The project is located on the eleventh floor of the Irving Pavilion at the Columbia Medical Center and it is currently in funding phase. The program for the new Men’s Health and Holistic Center includes a reception desk, four work stations for staff, two offices for senior practitioners, two examination rooms, a waiting area and one room for different kinds of holistic treatments. The project takes advantage of the views towards downtown Manhattan and proposes the use of materials with low formaldehyde adhesive emissions such as bamboo paneling and floors.
