Videography for Digital Films Videography refers to the process of capturing moving images on electronic media, for example: videotape disk recording. The word Videography comes from the Latin word, where video means "I see" or "I apprehend" and Graphy means "To Write", in short it means Videography. The term includes methods of video production and post-production. Digital videography in the late 20th century blurred the distinction between videography and cinematography. Any work related to outside commercial motion picture production is known as Videography. There was an era where, with the advent of computers and internet, videography covered not only shooting video with the camera but also included the digital animation, gaming, video blogging etc. In this field, videographers produce their assets entirely on the computer. A videographer can be a camera operator. Videography refers to a specific method of combining both pictures with the sound recording. There is way of creating a video by capturing moving images and combining and deducting the parts through video editing. There was a time when most of the recording was done through videotapes, hard disk or solid state storage to capture the footage. But now these methods are not in use anymore. Nowadays, there is variety of methods to capture images and video footage through different video recorders.
