Page 1

The essence of Motown creates a wonderment of joy and happiness in the hearts and mind for multiple generations. David Ruffin the former lead singer of the Temptations once said, “I want my grandchildren to be able to sing my music.” The “Divas of Detroit Tribute to the Motown Divas” exudes that exact sentiment in the bases of their performances. Authentic Detroit divas from the Motor city Metropolitan area will heat up the stage to create the essence of Motown magic through song and dance. The record company’s motto is that they were the “Sound Of Young America”, and 50 years later a new generation is honoring that legacy in tribute. The Detroit divas are seasoned professionals with a collective body of over 60 years of experience. With that amount of talent on the stage, you will marvel in the music arrangement and performance quality. This 2-hour creation is the cornerstone of Motor city excellence. The production even includes authentic Detroit musicians that currently perform with original Motown artists. What makes this show extraordinary is the fact that every entertainer is from the Detroit area, the actual birthplace of Motown Record Company. Relax and enjoy the montage of pictures and information compiled to tell the story of the Detroit Divas adventure into the history of the matriarchs of Motown. We think this promotional compilation has the essence of what you as a client need as a true representation of the Motown Sound.
