From the General Manager

December

From the General Manager, Mark Reid

As 2022 comes to a close this month, we are pleased to have navigated the challenges that this year has presented to us and it has been another wonderful year in Lakewood. Whether Inflation, drought or sinking retirement funds, we know that these are just momentary problems and we adjust with the knowledge that things will get better as they always do. We look forward to 2023 which is the 50th Anniversary of the Lakewood Community. Our Golden Anniversary is going to be celebrated for sure and we will be announcing various events throughout the year. Please watch the Ripples and email blasts for the notifications.

Once again, on behalf of all of your staff at the Lakewood Property Owners Association and the Lakewood Oaks Country Club, we wish you a joyous holiday season and wishes for the best that life has to offer in the new year.

The Greens at Chapel Ridge Neighborhood Block Party

Written by Kim Smith It was a beautiful evening by the Neighborhood Lake (behind Tiff and Jay’s). The parcel has expanded a lot lately with so many new homes being built, that it was great visiting with new and existing neighbors. We had about 30 in attendance and everyone just brought a dish to share and their own lawn chairs, so good eating was enjoyed in addition to the fun conversations. When we went around and everyone introduced themselves, it was apparent that there was one thing we had in common, loving our neighbors and our neighborhood in Lakewood!
