Lakewood Sail & Paddle Club
The Lakewood Sail & Paddle Club is celebrating its 20th year of providing “On The Water” access for Lakewood residents. To help celebrate our 20th anniversary, the club will keep last year’s COVID-19 reduced annual membership fees. Family – $50/year: Includes personal use for your family and your guests with you.
Single – $30/year:

Lakewood Stitchers
The Lakewood Stitchers Club meets the second Thursday of each month in a residential home, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Feel free to bring your knitting, crocheting, needlework, or other portable craft. Join us in a neighborly chat, while seeing all the creative ideas. If you would like to learn to knit, crochet, or learn any other needleart, we are happy to provide personal instruction as well. No Club Meeting in August! Enjoy the well-deserved break. Thank you for everyone who came out to the 19th Annual Lakewood Garden Club End-of Year Social. We could not have done it without all the help we received; thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Pilates Club
Tuesdays, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Lakewood Tennis
Drop in Tennis
On Thursday evenings the LPOA Tennis Club is sponsoring an adult’s program, Drop In Tennis, at the main tennis courts on Lake Drive at 6:00 p.m. We will have pickup matches and instruction (if requested). So, dust off that racquet and come on down. This is an opportunity to get out and enjoy the summer.
Youth Clinics
Thanks again to all the juniors who were able to participate in our Annual Free Tennis Clinics. Thanks also to Steve Winship and all the volunteers who made the clinics so successful.

Ladies Splashers Water Aerobics
Water Aerobics will start Monday, May 31 and run through Monday, September 6, 2021 beginning at the Lakewood Oaks Pool. Starting Monday, July 19, we will change locations to the Lakewood Aquatic Center. Classes are provided in two sessions: 7:15 and 8:15 a.m., Monday -Saturday Bring water to drink, water shoes to protect your feet and prevent slipping, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Lakewood Yoga
Yoga will meet live in the Augusta Room in the Lakewood Clubhouse. Please bring your own mat and props. You will be asked to sign a waiver on the first visit. Consult your health care provider for approval before starting a new activity such as yoga and follow any restrictions recommended. All levels of experience including beginners are welcome.
Monday 5:30 - 6:30 PM medium level class Thursday 4:00 – 5:00 PM Chair yoga for all Levels. Mats are optional Saturday 9:00 -10:15 AM active level class
Lakewood Bass Fishing Club
Tuesday night tournaments ($20/boat) will run 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Basic tournament rules apply to all tournaments. Participants must have a functioning livewell and no-puncture cull tags.
