Polish comic books author, Maciej Pałka, held several workshops on comic books at the 9th International Book Fair, organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture.
The workshops, which were attended by adults, children and teenagers, were held at the EUNIC booth on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th April with another two workshops at the public library on 16th and 17th April organized by Ramallah Municipality within the Sister City Partnership (Lublin-Ramallah). As part of the additional activities Poland’s Maciej Pałka also held a workshop for 50 students on “How to Write Your Own Comic Book” which was held on 15th April at a girls’ secondary school in Ramallah.
Maciej Pałka is the author of many comic albums and has participated in international comics projects. He works at the Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre in Lublin.
