DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE Dear friends, This summer has been a busy one at the MacKenzie with a lot of behind the scenes planning for autumn and the coming year. Some of what we have been working on will stay under wraps for the next little while as we continue to prepare, but there is much to share right now. September 26th marks the opening of the most anticipated art event of the season: Wilf Perreault: In the Alley. Alongside the exhibition we will be launching a new publication in collaboration with Coteau Books, and a limited edition fine art print by Perreault. Available exclusively in our Gallery Shop, sales of the new print will raise funds for MacKenzie programs. Also on view at the MacKenzie is Troy Coulterman: Digital Handshake. This is the first major solo exhibition by this Regina-based artist, featuring previously unseen works—a must see exhibition. We will also feature Casting the Imagination, an engaging exhibition of cast sculpture by numerous artists revealing this fascinating process. October 24th will be the 2014 MacKenzie Gala, featuring the premiere art auction in the province. This is just one of many ways you can support the MacKenzie. Other opportunities will include our revised membership program. Launching soon, there will be new and exciting ways to support the MacKenzie through an annual membership. Alongside this, we will be presenting new membership benefits and special member events. Please join us for the many great events we are planning. By purchasing or renewing your MacKenzie membership, you will be sure to receive all the information first. We look forward to seeing you soon!
