CONTRA MAGAZINE DESIGN Contra is a magazine founded in Boston. It showcases current trends in art and food, thereby changing the perspective and expectations of the readers.

The

branding of the magazine focuses on unique content and page layout to reinforce the “Contra� name.

The main

tool in constructing this magazine was Adobe InDesign.

KNIT OR DIE PACKAGING & BRANDING DESIGN The goal of this project was to create a knitting brand

that

appealed

to

a younger

demographic of

the knitting world. For this branding, packaging and web

design

project

I

choose

to

created, KNIT OR

DIE, a yarn shop that sells knitting supplies. The components for this project are packaging for knitting needles

and

yarn, as

well

as

the

s h o p’s

website.

K i d s w i l l b e learning about the 50 states in the U.S.A., including the location, the capital and fun facts about each state. The target audience is children and teachers in the 4th grade.

This is an app that will provide

THE COOKIE CAMPER BRANGING DESIGN This project was for a local St. Augustine business c a l l e d T h e Co o k i e Ca m p e r. T h ey s p ec i a l i ze i n m a k i n g custom cookies from scratch that are fun and creative. The objective was to create a logo, business card, p a c k a g i n g s t i c ke r s a n d we b s i te to r e f l ec t t h e co m p a n y ’s vintage

and

eclectic

presence

in

the

market. The

logo combines the iconic vintage camper with the classic mixer to create this whimsical illustration. Design work made while an intern at SpaceCamp Co.

of

making

your

Instagram

account

private. The components of this project include a magazine ad, subway billboard, an Instagram animated p o s t o r a d v e r t i s e m e n t s , a n d a M a l l a n i m a te d p o s te r.

M A M A’ S S O U P S U R P R I S E AD DESIGN This project was a branding of a new soup restaurant in downtown Chicago. The objective was to have a c o h e s i v e l o g o , m e n u s , To - G o p r o d u c t s a n d e x t e r i o r design that expressed a modern, yet a comfortable casual setting. Programs that where used to create t h i s b r a n d a r e A d o b e P h o to s h o p a n d A d o b e I l l u s t r a to r. The end result of the components are a modern twist of a comfort meal that is inviting and appealing.

P E N G U I N C LA S S I C S BOOK COVER DESIGNS This is a three novel collection that focuses on the classic 18th century romance novel. These include Wuthering

Heights

by

Emily

Bronte,

Jane

Eyre

by

Charlotte Bronte, and Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. The objective for the cover design was to keep it classic but not dated. Inspiration came from William Morris pattern work. Complementary colors were chose so that they pop and give it a-

small modern twist.I

primarly used Abode Illustrator to create these covers.
