OMSAS Application Medical Schools in Ontario

As mentioned, all applications to Ontario’s medical schools flow through the Ontario Medical School Application Service (OMSAS), which is accessible through its website Each applicant is assigned a user account to access the program Once the applicant has logged on, they can begin to fill out or edit information in the various sections of the application Upon completion, the updated information can be saved so that they can resume filling out the application the next time they log on All sections of the application must be completed by the applicant, except for the Confidential Assessment Forms. These forms must be completed by the referees.

All applications are due at exactly the same time: no later than 4:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time on October 3, 2022. Furthermore, all applicants must create an OMSAS account before September 15, 2022 (4:30 pm EDT). These are hard deadlines. All Confidential Assessment Forms and transcripts are also requested by October 3, 2022. Applicants should review the deadline dates from the website.
