is a 3-level pre-primary course which brings together music, play and a well-paced language syllabus to help teachers ensure a positive start to learning English for their youngest learners.

2 Develops values and essential social and emotional skills

Bebop and Friends helps children to manage their emotions and grow into kind and responsible global citizens. The new Explore the World lessons develop social and emotional learning and global values through exciting illustrations, songs, games, and other playful activities.

Every Explore the World lesson delves into different themes through The Tree of Life song and asks learners to reflect on a question that helps them to express their opinions.

ASL (American Sign Language) – children learn how to sign LISTEN and SCARED in this lesson.

Inspires a love of learning English

The lovable Bebop band and the diverse cast of characters and situations make students feel excited about learning. Learners follow an engaging musical program and a wellpaced literacy strand to support language acquisition.

The Bebop and Friends early literacy program gives children a head start in preparation for primary. The simple stories, easy-to-use activities and enjoyable exercises for motor skills make progression sequential, memorable, and fun.

Worksheets in the Teacher Resource Center as well as in the Activity Book also help with developing early literacy skills such as fine motor skills.

The literacy syllabus includes phonological awareness, vocabulary, narrative skills, print concepts, and letter knowledge.

The course is fully flexible for online, offline or hybrid learning and allows teachers to adapt the course to changing school needs.

Bebop and Friends features the Navio App for students with Activity Book, as well as the Teacher’s App which also includes the Teacher’s eBook, online Teacher’s Resource Center as well as teacher access to the Digital Student’s Book.

5 Supports learning at home

Families can join their children in watching videos, singing songs, and playing games, supporting their children’s learning with a broad range of digital resources, from the Navio App as well as the Digital Student’s Book. All songs and videos are readily available for home listening and watching.

The Letter to parents in the Teacher’s Resource Center explains what is going to be done in the unit and supports parents in how to continue their children’s learning at home, for example, how to use the digital components and Navio App.

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Components

The Bebop and Friends ready-made CLIL Music eBook, Math and Science eBook, and Arts eBook help students use English in a meaningful and engaging way. By mirroring the content of the Student’s Book, the CLIL eBooks provide more recycling and practice of the target language to extend learning in and outside the classroom.
