www.macomb185.org Since the first school opened in the 1800s, Macomb has taken great pride in providing first-class educational opportunities for everyone. Over the decades, change has been the keystone to a successful educational program, while the goal of providing the best educational opportunities for the community’s students has remained constant. The Macomb School District is well known for providing excellent opportunities for its students. The District enrolls over 2,000 students and there are 287 certified and educational support personnel. A systematic, performance- based evaluation system is utilized to ensure the District employs high-quality personnel to staff early childhood, elementary, junior high, and senior high school programs. MacArthur Early Childhood Center provides pre-kindergarten and pre-school programs for approximately 120 children. The District’s youngest students are surrounded by caring staff and a kid friendly environment. Family involvement is encouraged, and the center hosts several family events throughout the school year. The staff at

Lincoln Elementary School educates children Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Lincoln’s young students receive a solid educational foundation and families enjoy a variety of special programs throughout the school year. The teachers at Lincoln are committed to providing a wonderful educational experience to all students in a warm, stimulating environment designed to foster a love of learning.
