The ‘Fringe’ Deal
My Romantic History THEATRE This one is just made for you, fresh from rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe. A non-rom com about love, libido and lager, which tells you what happens if you don’t manage to find someone at university. Written by D.C. Jackson, one of Scotland’s most established writers, this is ‘90 minutes of pure pleasure’ (The Times) and ‘painfully funny’ (The Telegraph). If only all relationships (and papers) would be that much fun! Tue 27 Sep 7.30pm Student tickets only £7 macrobert.org/romantichistory
Uncharted Waters PHYSICAL THEATRE
Another (sold-out) Edinburgh Fringe favourite, this show is action and eye candy pure. Take a Chinese pole, aerial fabrics and rope, and you will experience circus as you haven’t seen it before (without the boring animals). Get swept away by spectacular skill, stunning imagery and live music. And did we mention that it got rave reviews at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe?
