CHANGES ON CAMPUS & AT MACROBERT ARTS CENTRE

The University of Stirling is working on an exciting re-development project to build new facilities at the heart of the campus, creating a host of new study and social spaces for students, staff and visitors to use. This means a few changes at Macrobert Arts Centre and for you our customers, including the temporary hoardings currently in our foyer space (outside the Mainhouse doors). MAIN DOORS Our front entrance is relocating so you’ll be coming into our building from a new double door on the loch side instead – there will be signs to point you in the right direction. ACCESSIBLE PARKING Queen’s Court (the large roundabout at the front of Macrobert Arts Centre) is now closed to through traffic, but Blue Badge holders can still park at the front of our building. As the works progress and our front doors are relocated, new Blue Badge spaces will come into use, but we’ll keep our website updated when we know this is scheduled to happen. DROPPING OFF You can still drop off at the front of our building using the East Link Road (most easily accessed from the Hillfoots entrance to the University Campus). NEW BUS HUB There is a new bus hub on Campus located beside the Stirling Court Hotel. There are regular buses to and from Macrobert Arts Centre and a number that drop off on Hillfoots Road at the back of the University, but buses no longer drop off outside Macrobert Arts Centre. We’ll continue to keep you up to date with all the latest info on our website and social media channels and send out pre-visit emails for any event you have booked tickets for in advance.
