With the help of friends and volunteers, he challenges French immigration policies which make it impossible for these families to set foot on French soil and seek asylum. Filmed over two years by documentary filmmaker Michel Toesca in an area that is just a train ride away from the glitz and glamour of Cannes, Herrou emerges as an everyday hero who will do anything to help the immigrants, even risking his own freedom. CHANGES ON CAMPUS & AT MACROBERT ARTS CENTRE Preparation work is ongoing as plans for the Campus redevelopment continue and if you’ve visited us recently you’ll have noticed there are already quite a few changes. Our front doors have now relocated so you’ll be coming into our building from a new double door on the loch side instead - there are purple signs to point you in the right direction. Our Blue Badge spaces and drop off point have also moved to the end of the East Link Road (there is a map on our website). Look out for all the latest info on our website, social media channels and if you book in advance you’ll also receive a pre-event email.
