THE ORIGIN

Born in 2006, MĂ DARA Organic Skincare is a natural cosmetics brand from Latvia. Founded by four Latvian women, who, unable to find exactly what they were looking for, created it themselves. In as little as 10 years, AS MADARA Cosmetics has grown From a dream to a famous and acknowledged producer of cosmetics for various skin care brands. Today MĂ DARA enjoys its greatest popularity in Finland and several other Northern countries, as well as throughout the Europe.

LEADERSHIP Frequently gives presentations at various events and conferences to encourage female entrepreneurship. In 2012, represented Latvia and her entrepreneurship story in the Northern Future Forum to the UK Prime Minister DAVID CAMERON and the Prime Ministers of the countries in the Baltic/Nordic region.

is to outmatch the synthetic and artificial with natural solutions. People want to be able to handle the consequences of modern life (fatigue and ageing) and to acquire new strength.

OUR TASK IS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH NATURAL SOLUTIONS. MÁDARA BELIEVES AND PROVES THAT ANY THING THAT IS CREATED SYNTHETICALLY CAN ALSO BE MADE FROM NATURAL INGREDIENTS.

If this is not possible, then it is unfit for humans.


UNIQUE INGREDIENTS FROM NORTHERN AND ARCTIC REGIONS

Our unique ingredients are harvested mainly in the Baltic/Northern region: e.g., rejuvenating birch water, vitamin-rich berries, mineral-rich fossil mud, antioxidant-packed herbs and omega-rich seed oils.

Each product is exclusively developed in the company’s own R&D department and lab in collaboration with the leading scientists and dermatologists. This ensures unique and highly specialised formulations, fast integration of innovative solutions, and quick adaptation to ever-changing market and customer needs, as well as new trends.


NORTHERN CLIMATE AND THE SKIN

IT IS NO SECRET THAT NORTHERN CLIMATE CAN BE HARSH TO THE SKIN.

A research estimates that one in four (~ 1 million) people in Finland experiences skin problems, such as atopic skin. Wind, cold and indoor heat dries the skin leaving it more vulnerable and sensitive – less able to tolerate harsh ingredients, such as synthetic preservatives, colourants and perfumes. Mà DARA N-Beauty formulation approach is to create intensely replenishing yet soothing natural products for the most demanding types of skin.
