Donna de Palma Interior Designer, has given up a successful career at a multi-million dollar real estate investment company to pursue a life-long ambition to design beautiful, liveable, workable and functional environments as an interior designer. After getting her feet wet on an Interior Design course at Chelsea College of Art & Design, she went on to attend and successfully graduate from KLC School of Design in Chelsea Harbour. Donna brings to her new career a potent mix of skills from her previous life, as well as maturity gained from fifteen years experience working alongside of New York City’s most well respected real estate principals. Not only can she create thrilling and winning design-concepts, she can demonstrate high-end transferable skills from business in project and client management, budgeting, time-management and computer skills. She has worked successfully in teams, but has the maturity and experience to work independently if necessary. Donna is now looking to share her talents with London and bring some New York sparkle to design projects.

Design for a divide within an excisting living and family area, without losing the visual link between both spaces ...
Inspired by an old magical illusion ‘‘sig zag girl’’ where a magician divides his or her assistant into thirds, in essence, the proposed room divide will create a similar illusion with glazing. The divide is comprised of three parts with storage on both ends and a central entertainment area.

Design for an Exhibition space in the V&A Museum Client : Cole&Son
Proposed Sensory Panels
Proposed Display Panels
This exhibition will offer a sensory tour of Cole & Son’d most iconic collections. Selective walpaper scenes will come to life via audio/ visual solutions, for example Led projectors, motion sensors and lenticular illusion. Four insulated ‘sensory zones’ have been created to maximise this experiance.
Inspired by lenticular illusion, an ability to view depth or movement as an image is viewed from different angles, the idea to exhibit Cole & Son’s collection 3-dimentially was birthed. Further research and inspiration of Cole & Sons Collection and ethos has resulted in the idea to bringing their brand to life by way of total sensory experience, where visitors can experience the inspirations behind their iconic brand.
