HOMOZYGOUS TOWERS
“A walkway, a plaza and a tower, in Madrid, are the themes. A walkway is a horizontal structure, a square is an open space in the city that looks at the sky and, a tower is a vertical structure. So easy how that. The walkway must save two distant points that must be joined. A square is an empty space provided by the architect who has ordered the city, where there is a special dilation that suits the tissue urban. It is not a square any void left by the city when it throw down a building. A tower is an emerging architecture that has the quality to serve as reference from outside, and to be a space of privileged views from inside. The decision to design two homozygous towers on the side of the Manzanares river born from the idea of creating a walkway, square and building system that allows the river to be opened, not only to the existing city. The two screen buildings create a fluidity at urban level in the development of different levels: not only continuity between the two different heights of the city, but also continuity within the scale of the buildings. This becomes a completely free space both inside and outside. Academic Project during Erasmus Experience at ETSAM, 2017 Proff. top’section
The fundamental idea of the entire project is developed in the concept of structure and structural clarity. This finds its way in the realization of a walkway and a tower in this way: transparency, integrated pieces. The whole project tends to develop at different heights and then understand the walkway as a means of connection element.
south tower and walkway
detail’s axonometric view
Its structural design is based on a static system with continuous beam with two main arms with both concrete supports with respect to the part towards the south, while the other part adheres to the construction with a steel system. The choice of a double facade reflects the theme of the project, the transparency and the livability of all the spaces with privileged points of view. In this sense, the choice of this system on the facade, not only from the functional point of view, but also from a formal point of view, finds its meaning. In this way, also the outside of the towers can be used as a continuous loggia that allows a 360 ° visibility of the area up to the last floor where a double height is developed in order to make the experience of the building even more transparent and light inside and outside where the top of the tower disappears and is made visible only by the people inside.

ARCHITECTURE OF DIALOGUE
The dialogue in architecture and the architecture in the dialogue are posed in radical terms in a project whose purpose is the relationship between worship and socialization and contemporaneity of sacred space within a consolidated historic pattern. After an analysis of different forms of worship, it seemed clear that all of these need a collective part and so this is necessary to the holy moment. The aim of the project was giving shape to two oxymoric realities but exhaustible in an unique way in a parish complex. This has architecturally resulted with the creation of a common ground through an excavation that incorporates an entire floor of each building, detaching from existing buildings but keeping a profile content. From a single level located at 3.10 m below street level the extrusion of three volumes gives shape to the project that is detached from the edge, so that at first glance, isolated from the rest, and that includes the main body of the Church higher than the other two and placed in the southern part of the area taking its own monumental importance even compared to the facing Piazza Leonardo da Vinci. The other volumes contain the main functions of a parish complex. Academic Project, 2017 Proff. Emilio Faroldi, Cecilia Rostagni, Maria Pilar Vettori w/ Anna Brazzini

PRISON WITHOUT WALLS
The theme developed by my working group about the detention centre “II Casa di Reclusione, Milano Bollate” wants to examine and work on what is the element that characterizes the prison itself which is the perimeter wall. The idea is to develop an infrastructure that creates a diaphragm and no longer an impenetrable continuous wall. The whole perimeter is flanked by an elevated walkway that joins the shorter sides. On these, it is planned the building of entrance spaces on the side towards the road and a sports pole in the terminal part. The purpose of this intervention is to make more attractive the space outside the prison for the common people and the inhabitants of the neighboring municipalities, and offer a new point of view to the prisoners who will live differently the space within which they are relegated. Diaphragm 1. Element which serves to divide an environment, a cavity, a receptacle into parts, or a limiting the flow rate of fluid streams, the width of light beams, and the like, from one to another of the compartments determined by it. 2. a thin sheet of material forming a partition. TRACE OF FREEDOM
The aim of the competition was to create a 3x3x3mt wooden structure that could be placed inside the “meeting garden” where the prisoners meet their family members. The idea was the consequence of what was seen and listened to by the detainees themselves in which it was clear how the appropriation of space happens only when the space can be observed and manipulated. The project of our “Trace of freedom” has proposed to architecturally develop their declaration: the project intends to set itself as an example of the role of each man in defining his own space. For this reason, the choice to design an architecture where the inhabitants adapt to the building, however, the building adapts to its inhabitants. The theme of improvisation as a “possibility” in the world of architecture is dealt with here with the choice of three precise scenes aimed at the appropriation of space for the inhabitants through constraints that guarantee architecture its lasting and stable essence. Through the project of five portals, the space can be used completely closed without straining the limits, otherwise, be open and expand in space through a fixed configuration guaranteed by joints with particular angles whose rotation it is bound. NOISY QUIET
The exhibition explores the contrast between noise and silence starting from the research and the study of documents and historical testimonies that reveal the context of life in the Antiaircraft Shelters in particular of the Second World War. The analysis gave rise to a reflection on the themes of noise and silence that goes beyond their meaning within the historical period and which results in a wider investigation in an artistic and cultural key, questioning their intrinsic meaning. The study led to the selection of some works from painting to music through artistic forms where noise and silence are offered in an unconventional way. Through a path that winds through the environments of the Anti-aircraft Refuge 87, the visitor is actively involved in deciphering some manifestations of this poetic of silence. We live besieged by noise. From the ferment of this disrupted and turbulent reality arises a culture increasingly obsessed with having to register the palpitations of the present. The only one who can oppose noise is silence. The exhibition therefore intends to make the visitor reflect: the silence in its multiple meanings is not only an absence of noise but is that aspect of sound that can be expressed both by sound and by its absence, both positively and negatively. “GREEN RAILWAY
The project involves the redevelopment of the railway station of Porta Romana, located south of Milan. The settlement strategy involves the insertion of a new urban fabric that dialogues with the existing one in all its parts. It also compensates for the lack of continuity given by the presence of the railway track that in the new masterplan is partially buried but without total coverage: it, therefore, generates a regular directionality on the whole lot, which orients the new linear park providing a lung green that reconnects to the agricultural vocation of the South Park. The area provides a new fabric in which different types of settlement house residential and tertiary functions and the existing station and its integrated expansion project to the subway service. Using the existing layers and the road axes of the context, the area can be traveled through a double overhead driveway crossover system that meets a longitudinal public path entirely pedestrian making it no longer an invalable but permeable boundary and connected to the built one. After which, the research was developed at a level of detail of a single building in the south-west part of the area.

“PANTA REI”
The aim of the project was to design a public facility called “Casa de Cultura” inserted within the concept of network capillary: it is an equipment destined to cultural production, with the first function of supporting the collective winners of the calls for the promotion of culture. Casa de Cultura is a program designed to democratize access to resources and spaces for cultural production. However, it is not yet implemented and therefore has a specific set of reference projects. The design of the Culture House located in the district of Perus is proposed as a new point of aggregation and reference within the fragmented urban tissue. The main idea is to create two recognizable simple volumes that establish a physical relationship between what happens inside and outside and, at the same time, generate a protected public space through the excavation and the realization of a large square that revolves around below grade level. The project develops the theme of continuity, not only through the permeable façade but also internally through a sequence of spaces that are articulated on floors that do not touch the facade except at certain points, ensuring vertical and horizontal continuity and the direct and indirect realization of spaces that develop the entire program. Academic Project during Exchange at FAU_USP, 2019 Prof. Angelo Bucci published in “Estudio 4” di A. Bucci, A. Barossi, A. Delijaicov

SCONFINAMENTI
During the 20th century, the development of art and architecture did not go hand in hand. Each discipline, though, despite different paths, dealt with themes that brought to radical revolutions, both in figurative, musical, sculptural fields and in that of design. This situation that interested different areas, facilitated a mixture among the disciplines, breaking the traditional definitions of art and architecture. This condition recurs many times and it often is the outcome of several social, economic, politic conditions, that shake up intellectuals, making the land fertile for the birth of the so called “ avant-gardes.” The second post-war is one of this particular moment. The charm of this period, in all its complexity - and its drama - brought a question out, and this looked just “radical” to us: how architecture, once again, responded to man of its time’s problems. The seductive and provocative images that architects of that time made are like the tip of an iceberg which is a hotbed of new ideas and thoughts. All of this results in a surely partial and incomplete analysis, as much as for the historical context in which it operates, so similar to ours in which we are called to live, study, design, questioned us first-hand.
