CUSHIONS & PILLOWS

When specifying the seat cushion construction on an order, do not neglect to specify the pillow back construction as well. An undesirable combination of choices could result in unsatisfactory seating and less comfort. All seat and back pillows require regular maintenance including vacuuming the surface and the inside of the casing to prevent damage to the cover and cushion from soil and to help maintain their shape and longevity.

FABRIC SEAT AND BACK CUSHION OPTIONS

CLASSIC SEAT CUSHIONS

• No Charge Option

Ultracel® high resiliency Ultracel® foam core (1), is wrapped on top, front, and bottom with polyester fiber (2) glued to the core. This is inserted into a sewn down-proof mercerized cotton casing (3). This cushion maintains a smooth, tailored look and is hypoallergenic. The pillow back construction typically used with Classic seats which, like the former, is also hypoallergenic.

CLASSIC BACK PILLOWS

• No Charge Option

A soft, resilient polyester fiber is hand filled into a down-proof mercerized cotton channeled casing. The channels help prevent migration of the filling. This construction provides a hypoallergenic option and is recommended for use with Classic seats.

CLASSIC THROW PILLOWS

A soft, resilient polyester fiber is hand filled into a down-proof mercerized cotton casing. This construction provides a hypoallergenic option and is recommended for use with Classic seats. All throw pillows require fluffing to keep their crisp shape after use.

Coil Springs (1) in polyurethane pockets (2) are mounted in a box fabricated from polyurethane foam (3). (6) Each channel is filled with a combination of polyester fiber, waterfowl feathers, and down. This construction is similar to Spring-Down but has a softer construction which requires regular "refluffing" after use..

25/75 DOWN SEAT CUSHIONS

A mixture of 75% waterfowl feathers and 25% white duck down is blown into a down-proof mercerized cotton casing which is constructed with dividers sewn to form channels which prevent the filling from shifting in use. Available: for both cushions and back pillows, this construction offers the billowy softness of down and feathers in a completely unstructured look. Both cushions and backs will require “refluffing” after each use.

It depends on the font style chosen and the format (i.e.: all the same size letters, all caps, etc). Stained and painted wood finishes are designed to accentuate the natural characteristics and beauty of the wood while achieving a particular look and palette. Due to the unique nature of each species, color and grain pattern variations should be expected which enhance and accentuate the individual qualities of each item.

Similarly, our antique finishes are hand applied by skilled artisans utilizing special tools and techniques to replicate authentic distressing and character markings as found on antiques. Every piece of wood will speak its own individual language.

LEAF FINISH OPTIONS

Metal leaf finishes are available in three color options. Each feature hand-applied metal leaf applied over a rich toned base finish and then a glaze to complete the color tone. Patina begins as Silver Leaf and then is hand-antiqued to produce and antiqued finish that blends beautifully with both gold and silver toned finishes. Lacquer is then applied to seal the final leaf finish.

STRIPING OPTIONS

Solid Striping is a solid color stripe applied evenly. Antique Rub Striping is a solid color stripe with random areas that have been rubbed through revealing the underlying finish. Solid striping is standard, Antique Rub Striping must be specified on your order. Exposed wood products are also available for hand decoration with this palette of finish colors or can be custom matched to your finish panel.
