Our Heritage Aanco & Made for Trade are very much a family run business that have been around, in some form, for over 35 years. Aanco started supplying to retail whilst still in Sheffield and continued this after the business moved to the North East. Aanco has become a household name in the Tees Valley area and holds a great reputation for quality and service. In 2005 Richard Gaunt’s son, Bradley joined the business to help maintain the momentum and explore new avenues. Having attained an Engineering degree from Nottingham, he was able to bring his knowledge of modern and lean manufacturing methods with him to improve efficiencies within each department. Made for Trade was born out of the vast experience required to fabricate for our own retail coupled with the industry need for a trade supplier which not only provided market leading products with top notch service, but also at a price point hard to ignore. Since launching the MFT brand in 2006 unprecedented growth has been seen and now supply to over 700 customers up and down the UK.

Bi-folding Doors Bring the outside in with aluminium bi-folding doors. The Visofold 1000 slide-folding doors offer impressive opening apertures that unite internal and external living areas. Domestic applications provide an alternative to sliding doors and can open up entire walls as part of a conservatory. Visofold offers a choice of opening configurations to suit most applications. Sashes fold internally or externally. All profiles feature a polymide thermal break that improves overall U-value. High quality gaskets and brushes aid weather resistance. Visofold complies with Building Regulations L2010. Security assured by multi lock mechanisms and shoot-bolt locking. All Visofold doors have low or rebated threshold options. PAS 24:2012 rated. Available in any RAL or British Standard colour, Visofold bi-folding doors are polyester powder-coated for durability to maintain a fresh appearance, year after year.

Threshold options The Visofold bi-folding door offers a range of different thresholds to suit every need. The low thresholds are designed for wheelchair access or doors in sheltered locations. Rebated thresholds come in either our standard range or the integrated cill variety. The integrated cill threshold is for open out doors only but allows for a lower step over height compared to our standard range when coupled with a projection cill.

Once your order is confirmed and a delivery date has been provided, your products will be sent to you via a nationwide* delivery service. All orders will arrive complete with a comprehensive installation guide to ensure you are able to fit the product with no problems.
