I wish you a very warm welcome to Kilkeel this festive season. With over 60 local independent shops showcasing the unlimited choice, quality, great customer service and excellent value for money offered, Kilkeel has it all wrapped up this Christmas. We are proud to have some of the best businesses and traders in NI. I hope you saw their “12 days of Christmas” video, which shows their fun side and the welcome they will give you. They have also generously donated into the Dickens Day raffle to give away an incredible £1,400 worth of products. We also have some award winners to boast about. The Sea Source Seafood Shop was voted the Northern Ireland Best Fishmonger of the Year and two doors down Cunningham’s Butchers the UK’s Best Butcher (& Northern Ireland Deli of the Year), putting Kilkeel on the map as THE fresh food capital of Northern Ireland, delivering the best quality local produce for your Christmas table. What a dinner that would be: world class langoustine and scallops fished off our coast for your starter, award winning locally reared turkey, ham and sausages for your main and not forgetting Granny Graham’s famous ‘Plum Pud’ from Shannons for desert. All from Kilkeel! And, finally, what a year for Kilkeel, firmly placed on the world map with the announcement of Harry and Meghan as the new Baron and Baroness of Kilkeel.
